About me
I am Rakaiya Azzouz and I am a freelance illustrator based in Manchester, UK. After completing my Masters in Education, I thought what better way to encourage learning than beautiful illustrations?
I have worked with names such as Skh Dr Yasir Qahdi, KUBE Publishing and Imam Ghazali Institute, among others
My inspirations are Hayao Miyazaki’s movies and Dreamworks publications. I’m passionate about producing illustrations for Islamic works in particular, and I want to make pieces that inspire Muslim children everywhere! I love to create pieces that are inclusive of individuals with different experiences and backgrounds, as well as abilities.
